To Understand the Menu Settings of Olyvue Dashcams

Below are the menu settings of OLYVUE Dashcam for you to read before installation,

 

Resolution4K 30fps / 2K 60fps / 1080P 30fps

Codec: H.265 / H.264

Loop Recording:1 / 2 mins

Recording will begin automatically after powering on with a microSD card in the device. Each recorded file is one minute long as a default and the old footage will be replaced when microSD card storage is full.

HDR: on / off

The default setting is on. The multi-exposure HDR technique helps automatically balance the lighting in over bright and over dark areas to avoid over exposure issues especially at night.

Timelapse: off / 1s / 2s / 3s / 5s / 10s

Under parking mode, the dashcam will record video from frames captured at specific time intervals to conserve memory and reduce the time it takes to review video.

License: on / off

Imprint the car number on the recorded videos.

Audio Record: on / off

The default setting is on. This can also be changed during recording by pressing the microphone button.

Date Stamp: on / off

Imprint the date & time info on the recorded videos.

G-Sensor: off / low / middle / high

The G-sensor measures shock forces and locks the video recorded at the time. The settings from low to high determines the amount of force needed to lock the file from being overwritten. We recommend that you set it at low.

Parking Mode G-sensor: off / low / medium / high.

With car parked, once the cam detects any collision or vibration, it will automatically turn on and record a locked video. The detection sensitivity can be set as low / medium / high.

Auto Power Off: off / 1 / 3 / 5 mins.

Set the time to automatically turn off the dashcam if it is not recording.

Screen Saver: off / 1 / 3 / 5 mins.

The screen goes black while recording under 1 / 3 / 5 mins setting and the screen will always stay on with setting “off”.

Frequency: 50Hz / 60 Hz.

Set it to minimize flickering and banding in the recorded video.

USB Mode: charge / USB storage.

USB storage mode- connect the dash cam to your PC in USB storage mode, your PC can read the data of microSD card. Charger mode- only for charging.

Speaker: mute / low / middle / high.

The default setting is Middle. Adjust the audio volume of recorded videos while playing back.

Boot Sound: on / off.

This setting controls the startup sound when turning on / off the dash cam.

Key Sound: on / off.

It turns on / off the sound when you press the buttons.

Snap Sound: on / off.

It turns on / off the sound when it captures a photo.

Language: English /简体中文/繁体中文/日本語/한국어/русский/ Deutsch / Français / Español / Italiano

Date / Time: Set system date / time

Time Zone: Set the current time zone for GPS time and date calibration.

Speed Unit: Kilometer per hour (KMH) and miles per hour (MPH) are

available for speed units.

GPS Test: For manufacturing test purpose only.

Speed Calibration: Allow you to manually correct the speed value in case the data generated by the GPS is not accurate enough.

Wi-Fi Frequency Band: 5GHz / 2.4GHz

We recommend choosing 5GHz Wi-Fi mode for faster downloading speed.

Wi-Fi App: on / off.

It turns on / off Wi-Fi for the connection with Olyvue APP.

Format: The operation will erase all data on the microSD card.

Note: Once you format the card, all information will be deleted and unrecoverable. Make sure to back up all the important files beforehand.

Default: Restore device to factory settings.

Version: Check the current firmware version of the camera.
